By downloading, installing, or using the VolTab Chrome extension ("the Extension") or visiting voltab.app ("the Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use VolTab.
VolTab is a browser extension for Google Chrome that allows users to independently control the volume of individual browser tabs. It is available in two tiers:
Upon purchasing VolTab Pro and receiving a valid license key, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Pro version of the Extension on your own devices.
This license does not permit you to:
VolTab Pro is sold as a one-time payment. There are no recurring fees or subscriptions. Your Pro license includes all future updates to the VolTab Pro tier at no additional cost.
Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, tax collection, and invoicing. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service.
All content, code, design, logos, and assets associated with VolTab are the exclusive property of VolTab and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The VolTab name, logo, and brand identity may not be used without prior written permission.
VolTab is designed for Google Chrome. We make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility with Chrome updates, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted functionality across all future browser versions. We will release updates to address compatibility issues as they arise.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the Extension at any time. We will not make changes that fundamentally remove the core per-tab volume control functionality from any active Pro license.
VolTab is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every website or audio source. Some sites (e.g. those using proprietary DRM audio pipelines) may not be fully controllable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VolTab and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Extension, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for VolTab Pro ($4.99 USD).

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts applicable to VolTab's place of business.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of VolTab after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
